'Farscape,' 'Scrubs' Dominate Zap2it's Emmy Polls "Farscape" is gone, but its intensely loyal -- and well-organized -- fans are far from forgetting it.Stars of the late, lamented Sci Fi Channel series dominated Zap2it's Emmy Shadow Poll, with Ben Browder, Claudia Black and Gigi Edgley each winning their respective acting categories by large margins. Readers also were of a different mind than Emmy voters in regard to the best shows on TV.Shadow Poll voters chose "Scrubs" as the best comedy series and "Alias" as the best drama in the 2002-03 season. Neither show is nominated in its respective best series category.In the shadow poll, Browder, Black and Edgley each received more than 3,500 votes to run away with their categories -- outstanding lead actor, lead actress and supporting actress in a drama, respectively. Lena Olin of "Alias" -- who was nominated for the supporting-actress Emmy -- was the only other Shadow Poll nominee to receive more than 1,000 votes in any of the three categories."Scrubs" stars Zach Braff and John C. McGinley and the "Gilmore Girls" duo of Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel won the comedy acting categories in the Shadow Poll. Readers voted James Marsters ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") as the best supporting actor in a drama. "The Amazing Race" won best reality series in the Shadow Poll.Readers also disagreed with the academy when they voted on the actual nominees, with only "The Amazing Race" matching up to the winner of the Zap2it poll."Friends" and "24" were the Zap2it readers' picks for outstanding comedy and drama series; at the awards, they lost out to "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "The West Wing," which won its fourth straight award for best drama.In the lead acting categories, readers picked "Friends" stars Matt LeBlanc and Jennifer Aniston to win for comedy and Jennifer Garner ("Alias") and Kiefer Sutherland ("24") for drama. Tony Shalhoub ("Monk") and Debra Messing ("Will & Grace") won the awards; they finished second and fourth, respectively, among Zap2it readers. "Will & Grace" and "Alias" swept the supporting actor and actress categories in our poll. Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes were the reader favorites for the comedy spots, while Victor Garber and Lena Olin finishing atop the supporting players for drama. Doris Roberts, Brad Garrett, Joe Pantoliano and Tyne Daly won the Emmys.
